Yes you can, but you will have to licensee the software. You do this by going to:
Start Menu>Programs>ESRI>Desktop administrator.
After you will need to click on you license and say update. This will give you the screen you already did, but at the end of the process, you will have to say, I want to evaluate the extensions, and choose all of them. This will activate the spatial analyst extension.
