I am really grateful for this blog! It helps me a lot in learning ArcGis! My entreaty is to tell me if I can have an account on courses.utexas.edu because I tryed several times to obtain an UT EID but I am not truly sure if I can have one if I am not related in any way with this University. When I tryed to log in they say every time "Could not login. Valid authentication credentials were not provided." The reason I want ardently access to this site is because I saw that there are exercises for ArcGis. Sorry but you will have to be related to UT to get an UT EID and access the blackboard site. If there is a particular dataset that you would like let me know I will e-mail it to you. This way you can still work on the labs.
